Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every child deserves access to tools that help them understand and manage their emotions. As a school counselor, I am creating a welcoming, calming space where students can learn healthy coping skills and feel supported during difficult moments. This project includes an iPad loaded with social-emotional learning (SEL) books, additional SEL books for guided lessons and individual support, and sensory fidgets to help students regulate their emotions, reduce stress, and refocus when they feel overwhelmed. These resources will allow students to build emotional awareness, practice self-regulation, and develop lifelong skills that support their success both in and out of the classroom. Your generosity will help create a safe environment where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered to thrive.
