The new rug, stools, and library rug have already transformed our classroom to the point that it's difficult to remember what it was like before we had them. The morning students walked in and saw the colorful rug, stools, and library nook, they gasped, cheered, and immediately wanted to sit in every new space. One student curled up on the library rug and said, \"This feels like a real reading place!\" Their excitement and pride in their classroom were both heartwarming and genuine.\r\n\r\nOur classroom work time has also been completely transformed. If you were to peek into our room, you would see some students working at the back table on the bright orange stools; others huddled together in the reading nook working on their assignments; and still others sprawled out on the rug working independently or with a partner. Our classroom has become such a collaborative and supportive space because of the flexible seating and the inviting areas now available to students.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, they now have comfortable, purposeful spaces to read, research, confer, and create. Your generosity has made our classroom more inviting, more collaborative, and more joyful. My students were so excited when the workbooks arrived and were thrilled to get the chance to learn something new. Many students had expressed the desire to learn cursive, but never had a chance to learn it or practice it. Each student received their very own and they were able to work on it little by little, at their pace. My students thought learning cursive was so fun and were super engaged during work time.
