My students are melting pot of cultures, races and religions. We would like to read more about India, a place where many of our students' families are originally from. We read different Cinderella stories from countries around the world. We want to read about one of the largest growing cultures in our school, India. The students are five and six years old and reading above several years above their average peers. When the rest of the class is learning site words like "is, the, and are" these students are reading novels from the third grade classes.

About my class
