Creating a Sensory Space

Help me give my students a bean bag chair, glow cube chair, sensory tiles and other materials for a brand new area where they can have calming time.

My Project

My students in my classroom all have special needs and are all very unique in their ways. Everyday they surprise me more and more. Most of them, also need assistance with Self-Regulation and calming strategies.

The bean bag chair, glow cube chair, sensory tiles and other items will be utilized in a calm down area within the school for our students to access through-out the day as needed.

With these items, we will begin the process of creating a sensory calm down area for our students. With the lights, we will create a calming environment with low lighting. The alternative seating for them to sit how they like. Then the Sensory activities so if they want a calming activity, they can pick what they want to do.
