Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school counselor at a Title I elementary school, my office is a safe place where students come to learn, grow, and receive support during some of their most challenging moments. Every day, students visit my office for individual counseling, small groups, classroom social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons, conflict resolution, emotional check-ins, and crisis support.

This project will provide a rolling cart, binders, dividers, and a bulletin board that will help transform my counseling office into an efficient and student-friendly environment.

As the school counselor, my goal is to ensure every student feels supported, heard, and empowered. With your generosity, I can create a space that promotes organization, independence, and meaningful social-emotional learning experiences for years to come. Your support will help provide an environment where every child can build confidence, develop lifelong coping skills, and know they always have a safe place to turn.
