This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Hello, my students come from a low income district in Southwest Tennessee. Our junior high school is a Title 1 school. Even from our rural location, our scholars have accomplished extraordinary things this last school year.

Our students achieved first place in our state's Academic Pentathlon and went to nations to place 4th in the nation.

These remarkable scholars have made us proud and we want to keep providing opportunities for our scholars to be successful. These scholars love to learn and love to show us all what they can do, if given the opportunity.We love that our scholars have impacted our lives the way they have and we want to provide everyone of them with everything that we can to make sure they are successful in life.

My Project

Our district is in the process of creating 21st century classrooms for our 21st century scholars . In keeping with this direction,our scholars need the computers in the classroom to give the scholars more opportunities to learn important skills. These skills would prepare our students for High School,College and the 21st Century work force.

Scholars will use the computers to conduct research, create projects,and presentations just to name a few.

This will help me as their teacher to teach our states standards that are designed to incorporate more technology within our scholars education. These computers will allow our scholars to have the same opportunities that others have. This will help our community to grow and to educate future 21st Century scholars.
