My Project

I teach under privileged preschool students. Many of them have lived through trauma and school is their only safe place to be a child. Many of them don’t know how to express themselves through words so I focus on art and sensory learning as a way to help them express themselves and work through trauma. With these supplies we will create projects related to our class studies throughout the year. Students will also have access to the supplies throughout the day to use to create and explore and anyway they need.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
