Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The school, along with our entire school district, qualifies as Title I. Our school is located directly off of a major highway in California. We take pride in and see our school as a constant resource in the local community.

With digital learning and many materials online, my students are learning, with the rest of the world, how to change, adapt, and grow in order to become successful.

My students come to school in hopes of having a safe, engaging, and collaborative classroom. School today can have many challenges. We hope to challenge students to overcome and prove that they, too, deserve opportunities for growth. With your help, we can make sure they have the materials for success, health, and happiness.

My Project

This project is requesting a set of Crayola Crayons for each and every student at our school. As we come back into the classrooms during 2022, our students will share in the designing of hallway murals and communal artwork. These supplies will be used by our whole school.

By allowing our students a clean slate and a fresh start, these crayons are symbolic of the power we hope to instill into our students, to continue to write their stories and let their voices be heard.

As we plan to celebrate Earth Day 2022, we also hope to have these new art supplies into the hands of our very talented students! We thank you for your support and we LOVE Crayola!
