This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to provide my students with some warmth and comfort after coming in from freezing, snowy recesses. This will give them the opportunity to be cozy and read for enjoyment immediately following our cold Michigan winter recesses.

"Brrrrrr," they all say while trying to settle down and enjoy their books.

These blankets and warm tea will be a game changer on those freezing winter days. My students love to read in both Spanish and English. This will only encourage them to read more often! I can picture it now!
