Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager learners who love stories. However, our classroom currently lacks a comfortable, inviting area where they can truly enjoy reading. With your help, I hope to transform one corner of our room into a cozy reading nook that sparks curiosity and a lifelong love of reading.

I’m requesting items such as soft seating, a rug, shelves to display books, and organizing bins.

These materials will help create a calm and welcoming space where students can focus, relax, and fall in love with reading.

This reading corner will be more than just a comfy spot—it will be a daily invitation for students to build literacy skills, practice focus, and develop imagination. Your support will bring the joy of reading to life for every child in our classroom. Thank you for helping me create a space where readers grow.
