Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 3rd grade students are energetic, curious, and full of potential. They need a classroom environment that supports their creativity, keeps them organized, and gives them the comfort to focus and grow.

This project brings together a few essential pieces that will make a big impact.

First, I’m requesting a comfortable chair for our read-aloud time — a special moment in our day when stories come to life. I’m also adding beanbags to create a cozy corner where students can read, relax, or take a quiet moment to regroup.

To help students take pride in their work, I’m asking for printer ink so I can print out their writing and projects — turning their ideas into something they can hold, display, and share.

STEM games and building tools like Legos will give students hands-on opportunities to explore, build, problem-solve, and collaborate in fun and meaningful ways.

Finally, I’m requesting organizational tools such as mesh zipper pouch bags, rolling cart, and a large wall digital clock. These items will help students keep their materials organized, reduce distractions, and build responsibility in managing their learning space.

With your help, our classroom will become a calm, creative, and structured place where every child feels comfortable, capable, and inspired to learn!
