My Project

I relocated to Hawaii from Florida this school year. With all my classes, I want to ensure they have a learning environment that is inviting, relaxing, and very print friendly.

The resources I have requested will allow me to set up my classroom library and make it a more inviting area where my students can be comfortable while enjoying different reading selections that will take them around the world.

I want tmy students to be able to have flexible seating in addition to a nice area to relax. I know that my students will love sitting comfortably on the extra large floor cushions and the large rug.

My students are very special to me. As I get to know them, I am also learning about a new culture and my students' needs.

All of the supplies and resources requested ensure that I can continue to offer differentiated lessons, such as my gallery walks using Post-It sticky paper. The gallery walks allow me to place my students in different groups and have them work on different topics in each unit and learn from their classmates. These gallery walks provide my students with the opportunity to improve on their presentation skills, their leadership skills, and their comprehension skills.

I have also requested some storage organizers which will help my students find classroom resources easily.

Thank you for any assistance that can be given. Your assistance will help me set up and establish my classroom environment, which I will be able to build on for years to come.
