Counseling Office and Materials

Help me give my students an inviting environment to work on social emotional skills. These supplies will furnish my school counseling office and the books will be used for classroom lessons, small groups, and individual counseling sessions.

My Project

I am excited to create a fun and inviting counseling office at Audubon Elementary School for my students to learn and grow. I am a school counselor at an urban school. My students come from diverse backgrounds and include many English Language Learners. Most families struggle with poverty. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are thoughtful and caring.

Students can learn so much from a good social story, which these books will help me with!

They will also benefit from a comforting, inviting space to speak with the counselor about their feelings.

I am building opportunities to increase my student's ability to regulate emotions to help them find success both in and outside of school. These supplies will help me do just that!
