Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recently, two reluctant readers specifically requested more books about war for our school library. While it was refreshing to see these young men sincerely interested in reading a new book, the selection that we had for them was scarce.

This project will provide new and engaging titles to especially intrigue a few hard-to-reach students who generally are not interested in books.

The goal of this project is to help get students to read and increase their literacy skills. It's time to change the dynamic and see these teenagers enjoy some great books.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
