My Students

Enthusiastic, energetic, empathetic, creative, inclusive, and motivated are a few words that come to mind when thinking about the learners in my class. As an intervention teacher, I am given the opportunity to work with different students in a range of grades. I feel incredibly grateful to be able to interact with students who are curious, passionate, and so thoughtful. These students desire to succeed, and I consider it a gift that I am allowed to coach them and provide new pathways to success.

My Project

I want to really inspire my kids this year! My goal is to have a event where the kids can make and treats based on books that we can prepare in the microwave! The microwave will also be used for our classroom popcorn parties and other yearly celebrations.

Additionally, I always like to keep a few snacks or treats for exceptional students, or just when a kid is having a hard time adjusting.

Perhaps, they have a headache from not eating at home due to financial situations and a granola bar will help them refocus and re-engage.
