Cooking Competition Equipment

Help me give my students the opportunity to compete in the Prostart competition by having the portable burner and oven needed to compete.

My Project

I work with the most outstanding students. They are interested in learning new things, always up for a challenge, and just fun to be with. They have been learning the skills needed to work in a professional kitchen and want to compete in the state competition for FCCLA and Prostart in March. They need knives and specific equipment to practice with for the competition and since my program is small I do not have the equipment for them to use.

The portable gas burner and camp oven will make it possible for students to experience using a gas burner which is industry standard.

The oven will give them an opportunity to expand the options of food they will be able to prepare for the competition. They will be preparing a three course meal for the competition and have the support and coaching of a local chef from our community.
