This year our school participated for the first time ever in the one school one book program in which all students in the school (K-5) are reading the same book. It has been such a wonderful experience that has helped our school community to connect with one another. Students get to keep the copy of the book once we are done reading! Now that I know the hard work and dedication that goes into it, I would like to begin preparing for next year to ensure that it will be an epic experience!
To more deeply connect with the story Zoey and Sassafras: Dragons and Marshmallows by Asia Citro, students in our school need the thinking goggles that the main character Zoey uses and the dragon will be a story buddy that listens to them daily as they read!
