Community World Environment Day Field Trip

Help me give my students the supplies needed to grow plants and display their information at our community World Environment Day field trip display.

My Project

Last year for the first time the STEAM club presented at the local World Environment Day event. We set up a booth and informed the public about the need to help save the bees and other pollinators. We provided seed papers for people to plant and gave out information about our cause.

We learned a few things from last year and are asking for help to improve our presentation.

First we need a new way to display our educational information. The posters we used blew in the wind and were hard to talk around. We are asking for small dry erase boards to present our information. These are short and will not be affected by the wind. Second, we would like to grow some plants to hand out this year in addition to the seeded paper. With the remaining seeds we will make small seed pouches to hand out.

We will also be using the dry erase boards during our presentation at our school district's STEAM showcase.
