Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class is composed of 30 children, some general education students and some special education students, who come from families with very limited resources. They require multi sensory approaches to instruction. Our school is a Title I school and the neighborhood is a very diverse community with many low income families who have very limited support. Our school is also comprised of a big population English Language Learners.
Your contribution will make technology accessible to low income English Language learners, as well as Special Needs students.
Due to the limited resources in our school, we often do not have access to basic materials, such as notebooks, pencils and folders.
My Project
It is coming close to mid year and our low income families struggle to provide basic school supplies.
Please help us keep a reserve of basic supplies such as notebooks, pencils, crayons and folders to assist students with replenishment as needed.
Poverty is a real issue. Help us lift the burden off of our students and parents. Let’s keep that momentum and excitement of learning. Basic school supplies are needed for every subject, such as Math, Literacy, Science and Social Studies in order for success. Your generosity will ensure continued success throughout the rest of the school year. Your gift will be greatly appreciated.
