My Students

My students are outstanding! They are a diverse group of seventh and eighth graders, and they deserve the very best I can offer them. As twelve to fourteen year olds, they have unique needs, and engaging them can be a challenge at times, yet they are eager to learn and always respectful. As an English teacher, I love seeing my students' writing and hearing their analysis of it. Their new ideology keeps me young.

My students say they love my class for many reasons; their voices are heard, their creativity awakened, and they feel how much I genuinely care.

It is so exciting for me to see the amount of growth they can in a single year. Seeing them have pride in their accomplishments is something I never tire of.

My Project

We need some new seats! We love to read in our English classes, but who wants to sit at a plastic desk to read? No one! Help us increase our reading skills by giving us somewhere comfy to read and lap desks to hold our books and Chromebooks.

Covid slide is hurting our young readers; we need to help them.

Anything we can do to help them find their way again is vital to their success now, and in the future.

I am dedicated to helping my kiddos enjoy reading and learn to comprehend literature effectively. If they are comfortable and relaxed, they are better able to read!
