My Project

I am a new Special Education teacher, and have not been able to build a library for my students. Being able to get books that are at the students diverse reading levels would be very helpful. The books will be placed in out Book Tok for the students to read when when are doing independent reading. They will also be used as teacher requested reading assignments.

As a first year educator, I am building my classroom supplies and would love to have cozy seating that the kids can use when fidgety or reading quietly.

Having seats that are comfortable while reading are great ways to make the students comfortable and more engaged. The seating will be accessible in the Book Tok but also during class time.

The snacks will help with the students hunger. Many students get distracted when they are hungry and cannot focus on the work they are supposed to be doing. So having snacks available for them will be very helpful.
