The wiggle seats are especially helpful when students are working in partners or in group projects since in these moments students are the most anxious working with their peers that they might not be familiar with. Since we have been doing a lot of partner work while my students interpret the Constitution this has been incredibly helpful. My students were excited for the return of the fidget bands since we had them for most of last year before the old ones all broke. I am happy to report that none of the new fidget bands have broken so far and I have had them for about 2 months. They were also excited to see the introduction of wiggle stools into my classroom since they have wiggle stools in their ELA and Science classes as well. \r\n\r\nMy students just finished up reading through, interpreting, summarizing, and writing about the Preamble, all sections of Articles 1-7, and the Bill of Rights! We open every class by singing the School House Rock Preamble song which they surprisingly really enjoy doing. We are now tackling the later amendments to the Constitution through landmark Supreme court Cases. I am quite proud of the amount of work that my students have been doing, the things they have accomplished, and the well informed citizens they are becoming.","fullyFundedDate":1765830077646,"projectUrl":"project/wiggles-welcome-wishlist-a-classroom-co/9633729/","projectTitle":"Wiggles Welcome Wishlist: A Classroom Comfort Campaign","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rae","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10203717_orig.jpg?crop=2298,2298,x473,y1038&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755725487635","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missraeclassroom"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_60279","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":529,"numTeachers":45,"percentFrplEligible":18,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":91,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"11.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":55.4,"schoolId":60279,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mount Ararat Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mount Ararat Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maine/msad-75/mt-ararat-middle-school/60279"}
