Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our goals for implementing flexible seating are to promote collaboration, creativity, and independence among students. When children can choose where they work, they often collaborate more with their peers, share ideas, and problem-solve together.

My students will be able to sit comfortably and move around easily in these stools.

These flexible seating options will replace the old, outdated, hard chairs that we are currently using.

By incorporating flexible seating into our classroom environment, I aim to grant my students agency and choice in their learning experience. For elementary students especially, comfortable seating is essential for maintaining focus and concentration throughout the school day.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
