My Project

My students are amazing preschoolers with a wide range of abilities who come to school each day eager to learn through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions. Many of my students have autism and other developmental disabilities and are working hard to develop communication, social-emotional, fine motor, and self-regulation skills. They thrive in a structured, sensory-friendly environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore at their own pace. Every small milestone—whether it's saying a new word, sharing with a friend, or calming themselves independently—is a huge accomplishment worth celebrating.

Creating a calm, engaging classroom is essential for my students' success.

The memory foam bean bag chairs will provide comfortable, flexible seating where students can relax during reading, sensory breaks, or when they need a quiet space to regulate their emotions. Having multiple bean bag chairs will allow several students to benefit from these calming spaces throughout the day.
