Kindergarten is a chance for students, from every walk of life, to come together. I need a classroom rug to establish a sense of community in my classroom. I teach Kindergarten in a middle to lower income neighborhood.

My students needs and backgrounds are diverse. My school was built this year during an economic downturn and supplies are limited. I need a chance to help my students overcome this and to come together.

I need a classroom rug that will serve to develop a sense of community. We will discuss books, ideas, and make friends on the rug. Just envision a place where two very different individuals turn to one another to discuss their ideas, share past experiences and laugh with one another. It will be our special place to come together.

You will make it possible for my students to have a place where they can look past their differences and see themselves as part of a group striving to help one another learn.
