Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students learn best when they can see, touch, and create. In my biology, chemistry, and forensic science classes, students regularly complete projects that require them to illustrate models, analyze data, reconstruct crime scenes, and visually explain scientific concepts.

These art supplies will allow students to move beyond worksheets and engage in hands-on learning by creating diagrams, annotated evidence boards, lab models, and visual explanations of their thinking.

Access to these materials supports creativity, critical thinking, and confidence—especially for students who may struggle to express understanding through writing alone. These supplies will help make science more engaging, accessible, and meaningful for my students.
