This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have endured the trauma of COVID and are now settling back into life. Learning to manage their emotions so they can be fully focused on learning in school is essential for their success in school and in life. These tools will support students in understanding and managing their own emotions.

Through the use of color images, posters, it brings social emotional concepts to life and students in an engaging way.

These tools will enable students to practice skills in a safe environment, so they can apply them to real life. Managing anxiety, anger, grief, bullying, friendship woes and trauma are all ways students will be supported in a meaningful way by utilizing tools as well as so many healthy social emotional concepts and strategies in color.
