Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Collaborative learning makes learning fun! Research shows that learning experiences that are active, social, engaging, and student owned lead to deeper learning.

The benefits of collaborative learning include; improved oral communication, self management, leadership skills, and development of critical and higher order thinking.

The furniture I currently have in my classroom is very old and huge. Students cannot work together when they are so little and the tables are so big. These tables fit together to make a larger group or can separate to be two smaller groups. The flexible seating ottomans will be perfect for my kindergarteners to get comfortable and collaborative.

Thank you for supporting my classroom. My students love to learn and have fun and this project supports both!
