Coding & Literacy With Sphero Indi!

Help me give my students a Sphero Indi mat for coding with literacy activity cards.

My Project

I teach a STEM specials class once a week for my K-2 students. We have Sphero Indi robot cars that give my students the opportunity to code without a screen. Students code their car by placing color squares for the car to drive over and each color has a different function such as turn, stop, start, speed up, slow down etc.

This grid mat will make it easier to create path that is lined up for the car to follow.

In addition, the back has a map called Indi Land that students can use for for literacy concepts. One afternoon a week, I am pulling small groups to work on literacy. The cards and activities included with this mat will help me create and interactive experience that I know my students will enjoy.

Thank you for helping to make our STEM class and small group time the best that it can be! This mat will used for many years to come.
