Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are faced with the various challenges due to COVID-19, low income families, social distance and non-grouping issues. Learning computer science with the aid of the LEGOS would give my students the help to guide them throughout their lives. These students will have the opportunity to explore the in's and out's of robotics, keyboarding, HTML, CSS, Web Design, and the basics of computing.

Each day my students come with the expectations of exploring opportunities that are not always available to them due to the lack of supplies.

Even though they don't have the advantage of technology in their home environment, I want to open doors of no return for their thinking and to reach another level of gaining knowledge to assist them in everyday experiences.
