Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work hard every day, whether they are tackling challenging Geometry problems or creating hands-on projects in Video Production. I want my classroom to be a place where they feel welcomed, comfortable, and ready to learn from the moment they walk through the door.

The hot chocolate and cups in this project will allow me to provide students with a warm drink throughout the school year.

That small comfort can go a long way during an early morning class, a difficult math lesson, or a long afternoon spent filming and editing.

More than anything, this project is about creating a positive classroom environment. A cup of cocoa can help students settle in, recharge, and connect with their classmates while they develop problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. Your support will help make our classroom a place where students feel excited to show up, participate, and do their best.
