My Project

What happens when a classroom runs out of the very supplies that keep it safe, clean, and ready to learn?

Every day, my classroom is filled with energy, curiosity, and the kind of joy that only comes from students who are truly engaged in learning.

My students come from a Title 1 school community, and for many of them, our classroom is more than just a place to learn—it’s a safe, consistent space where they feel seen, supported, and inspired.

As we approach the end of the school year, we are still learning, still growing, and still showing up for each other. But like many classrooms, our supplies are running low. The items that help us maintain a clean, healthy environment—wipes, disinfectant spray, tissues, and hand sanitizer—are essential to keeping our classroom safe and functioning every single day. Without them, it becomes harder to focus on what matters most: learning.

This project is about more than just finishing

the year strong—it’s about preparing for a fresh start. The additional supplies will allow us to not only close out this school year in a clean, organized, and supportive environment, but also walk into next year ready to learn from day one. Having these resources already in place removes barriers and gives my students the stability they deserve.
