This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I work with third and forth grade students with autism, ADHD, specific learning disabilities, etc. who come from diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic levels. Most of the students receive free or reduced lunches. Many of my students are in constant need of the bare necessities and other challenges that sometimes keep them from focusing and retaining information doing the school day.
As a critical needs school, we're faced with a limited budget for even the most essential items that help keep students healthy and at school.
The staff at my school is dedicated to helping all students succeed because our goal is to keep our students healthy and well fed.
My Project
All of my students receive individualized interventions to meet their specific needs. These interventions are most effective when students attend school daily and are healthy. Research suggests that students who attend school regularly are more likely to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance.

This project will help my students stay healthy, germ free and focused on their goals by preventing illnesses through the use of hand sanitizer, wipes and snacks to give them fuel during the day.. My classroom will become a healthier place for the students because it will be sanitary. the snacks will help students stay energized throughout the day as I can have classroom snacks available when they get hungry. These supplies will help maintain a healthy classroom environment for my students. Your donation along with the match from Clorox will be greatly appreciated.
