Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As this school year comes to a close, we look ahead to next school year!

This year our district recalled all funding, leaving us without a budget and unable to purchase supplies for next school year!

That's when we turn to DonnorsChoose and YOU, to help us save the day!

Currently requested are items to help us start off a fabulous and healthy new school year! Refillable water bottles are given to students so they always have water available during the day and do not have to miss valuable instruction time to leave the class for a drink! Wet wipes are a must-have and aid in cleaning students up when muddy, sick, or when students need to refreshen up in the restroom! Small cups allow students to gargle when allergies or cooties cause sore throats! Ziplocks are great for portable ice packs, allowing students to return to class faster after an injury! Vinegar is used to clean our ice maker for ice packs! Velcro dots allow us to hang education posters in the clinc! Air fresheners are vital for a clinic restroom that is used by staff and ill students alike!! Pen lights assist us with many examinations, and air purifier refills will allow us to continue to keep our clinic as clean as possible to avoid contamination and cootie tranferance!

As you can see we have many consumable items that we use daily in the clinic! Without your support we wouldn't have these very useful supplies to aid us in caring for our students when they are their vunerable and need us most!
