Our students prefer having their own water bottles to refill and use during the day instead of visiting the water fountains! Many students will forgo water, rather than drinking out of the fountains, and this project helps us keep them hydrated by providing them their own bottles. Having a personal bottle to refill gives students a visual reminder to drink water throughout the day, ensuring they are drinking enough to prevent dehydration causing headaches, stomach aches and other epidermal ailments that can interrupt their instruction time with visits to the clinic. The automatic air fresheners, refills and PooPourri have added a nice pleasant touch to our clinic restroom that becomes overwhelming throughout the day with so much traffic! We are able to keep our water pitchers and utensils sparkling clean with the antibacterial dish soap, allowing us to remain in the clinic rather than having to visit the teachers lounge for cleanings! The vinegar is being used for rinsing and cleaning our clinic ice maker to ensure it remains in clean, working order, and the bleach is on hand for sterilizing tools and for biohazard accidents that come unexpectedly! Our clinic is often overrun with puberty body odors that acosts the senses of anyone who visits, and the vanilla scented air freshener has been a wonderful welcomed scent to relieve those odors!
