In my classroom we are implementing the reader's workshop model. Students are allowed to have choice in what they are reading and are given class time to read books. I am encouraging my students to read 40 books this school year. I am looking to add titles of books to my library that my students enjoy reading. My students need more books so they can have the flexibility to choose what they want to read. By having more choices and books that can relate to them it will allow me to encourage and foster a love of reading that will last a lifetime.
