Clean Hands For All Part II

Help me give my students cleaning supplies and hand soap to stay safe and prevent the spread!

My Students

My class includes 26 third-grade students from diverse backgrounds. About one-fourth of the students speak English as a second language and the majority of students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Despite these differences, all my students come to school each day ready to learn. The smiles on their faces and the excitement in their voices show me how ready they are to do their best!

As an educator, my hope is to create learners who are curious about the world around them, who are excited to take on challenges, who are willing to take risks, who are resilient and flexible in the face of failure, and above all, treat others with kindness.

My Project

Washing your hands is easy, and it’s one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs. Clean hands can stop germs from spreading from one person to another. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, it is best to wash your hands with soap and water as opposed to using just hand sanitizer.

With all of the excessive hand washing going on, I want the hand soap my students use to be free from ingredients that may be harmful to our health, including synthetic fragrances and parabens used as preservatives.

The CeraVe Moisturizing Cream includes 3 essential ceramides that work together to lock in skins moisture and help restore your skin’s protective barrier. This will be so beneficial and healing for my students to apply after their handwashing.

It seems like there’s always something to clean in our classroom. Even with the daily cleaning my students and I do using Norwex mircrofiber, we're still left with marks and messes. The Mr. Clean Magic Erasers will really help lift the dirt and grime from our work surfaces. The bamboo activated charcoal bags are odor and moisture absorbers: natural air fresheners.
