Clean Clothes For Amazing Kids

Help me give my students clean clothing. We need detergent and dryer sheets to go with our new washer and dryer.

My Project

"Nobody likes the smelly kid". This is often said as a joke, but it is reality for some of my students. Many of my students are in homeless shelters, hotels, and other temporary living situations. They do not always have access to washers and dryers. Not feeling or smelling clean can effect them in school. If they are self conscious about their clothes they can not concentrate on learning.

I want every child at Bennie Dover to have access to clean clothing.

I know that this will help them concentrate on learning and improve in school.

My students are a very special group of kiddos. They live in a working poor community, speak many languages, come from many countries, and many aren't native English speakers. But they are fun, kind, and hard working. They want to learn. They need to learn.

Please help me give them a few more tools to make their somewhat difficult lives a little better.
