Help me give my students a clean classroom by providing me with disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer that's always in reach and personal hand sanitizer pouches for safety.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are a Title I school in Washington, D.C. We don't get much funding for the students, and it can sometimes affect our students' learning.
My students are super excited to learn new things and be exposed to new experiences.
I truly love how my students are developing cognitively in the classroom with what little materials we have to work with. They are always eager to learn and grateful for what they are presented while learning.
My students are striving to be Kindergarten ready next year, which I love because each and every day they show me that they can obtain whatever lessons, problems, and activities I throw at them.
My Project
During these unprecedented times, it is very important that when working with and around students, especially early childhood students, that we always have the proper safety materials in reach. I have requested disinfectant wipes, liquid hand soap, and gel hand sanitizer. These items will prepare my students to enter the classroom once school re-opens.
We also know that it can be very hard for preschoolers to self regulate, which is why these materials will help me protect my students' space as well as my space at all times.
Just knowing that surfaces can be clean in my classroom is very helpful and reassuring.
