Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Being responsible, respectful, safe, and kind are the four basic traits that my students live by while working and learning together. They are curious, innovative critical thinkers who love sharing and discovering. My second graders are all that and more.

My Project

These are challenging times for the health and safety of our students. Following all safety guidelines can be a challenge when supplies are not readily available or run out. These health and cleaning supplies I am requesting will allow students to have a clean and germ-free classroom environment, as well as quick access to first aid in the classroom so they can focus on the all-important learning that brings them to school in these trying times. A clean and safe classroom is where students can learn, grow, and be safe.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
