This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of very enthusiastic and engaged 4th graders. They're proactive learners and can't wait to learn everything! In our room we build community, practice making the best choices for ourselves, and show kindness to others. We respect and celebrate the diverse cultures and learning styles in our classroom.

We come from a school where many students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast.

Our families are very supportive and involved in their children's education. They are seeking the best environment for their children to learn and grow.

My Project

My classroom has flexible seating. At any given time in our classroom, you can see fourth graders playing math games on the carpet, cozying up with a book to read in the library, or using their Chromebooks on the carpet to compose their newest essay. With so many busy and active learners coming in and out of the classroom, our classroom carpets get a lot of traffic.

Please help me purchase a vacuum for our classroom so that we can keep our carpets and floors clean.

Your donation will help promote health and wellness within our room so that students can continue to sit and think safely and comfortably anywhere in the room.
