When a water bottle gets knocked over during class, ten kids jump up to get the mop to clean up the mess. I was really looking forward to receiving the phonics kits, but they were out of stock. I chose some more phonics materials. The kids last year LOVED the Splash! game. They played it daily. I've just brought it out this year and the kids are already enjoying the easiest set. \r\nThe Making Numbers set is so helpful for the kids to see that the whole never changes, but the parts change. This makes for a great center where the kids can record their equation each time they shake their set. \r\nI used the people color paper for an art project where the kids get to choose the paper that best matches their skin color. Then they cut out an oval for their head and ears. I give them their hands cut out that match their face color.
