My Students

It is difficult to say what makes this cohort of sixth grade students special, but this group has lived up to its reputation of being a great group of students. Their positive attitudes and eagerness to learn have made teaching science and social studies even more engaging subjects than usual.

My Project

This project is made possible by the Utah State Board of Education and I am immensely appreciative of the opportunity to provide my students with upgraded and quality supplies for our room along with much needed PPE. The pencil sharpener will decrease the consumption of pencils due to inferior sharpeners and 'make the day' of my students (they really dislike my current device).

The new globe will allow me to teach both science and social studies with more confidence knowing that the global political boundaries are current.

I use my globe on a daily basis, but am frustrated by the out of date the political boundaries.
