This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
In my classroom, I have a classroom set of whiteboards. The students will be using the dry erase markers when we use the whiteboards. As a class, we use the whiteboards to do guided practice and add some fun to learning. I also have the students take notes daily and many of them come to class without pencils/paper and ask me for some.
Having the extra pencils/paper for the students will make the class run smoother and create more time for learning.
The students will be using the paper to take daily notes. This will let them have a hands-on resource to study from at home as well as on assessments. The graph paper will make it easier for the students to draw/sketch graphs as well as make it easier for me to check their work.
