My Students

The students in my classroom are excellent! They are avid learners who love to explore new possibilities and experience new adventures using artwork, reading, and technology. Students in my classroom feel welcome to ask hard questions and work together to find solutions.

We are a K-12 public charter school in Utah.

We are an excelling Title I school, with over 50 percent of our students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. As a school, we excel annually, testing as one of the top schools in the state on standardized tests. We do more with less, and we are proud of it. Our specific classroom has mixed ethnic groups with quite a few lower readers. We have twice as many girls as we do boys. They are eager to please the teacher and work very hard, with limited resources.

My Project

The students in my class need more basic supplies to help them in their studies. We are constantly running out of colored pencils, glue sticks, wipes, red pens, and pencils. Having these extra supplies will help the students to be able to finish their assignments in class and then to clean up using the wipes we have requested.

Colored pencils, glue sticks, pencils and wipes will help my students specifically in their map work in my class.

We use these basic classroom supplies daily to work on maps or other essential assignments in class. Most students are not properly equipped for class. Having these basic items ensure them the learning they need without worrying about the cost for their parents.
