This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come from very unstable homes. Some are refugees coming to a new country and trying to succeed others are dealing with personal issues that makes it difficult for the parents to provide them with the materials they need to succeed, such as pencil boxes, colored pencils, & notebooks. The purpose of this project is to be able to provide class sets of basic materials that they will need during Biology.

The computer dock is so that I can project my lessons on the out dated projector since everything is now USB-C and projectors only read in HDMI.

I want to be able to make my lesson's engaging to the students by playing videos and interactive experiments but without a means to project it on the screen or not having the ability to play sound takes away from the lesson.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
