My Students

My students thrive on a challenge and love to explore new ideas, topics, and interests during reading. They are very interested in the world around them.

My second graders are inquisitive and enthusiastic learners who want to excel in the classroom.

Their motivation and engagement is of the utmost importance to me as an educator, as this will set the stage for their learning. They love to move around the classroom and be comfortbale when working during stations and independent work.

My Project

My students need comfortable seating at our reading station and more stools at our small group reading table. Having more comfortable seating at our reading station would help students to be more excited and engaged when going to the reading station to read to themselves or read to each other. Being comfortable when reading is important because it helps the students to be more engaged and to be able to build their stamina when reading.

Having more stools at our small group reading table would be beneficial to allow more space between students when working with the teacher.

They take up less space and allow the children easier access to the table.
