Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come into the classroom with different experiences, strengths, and challenges, but they continue to show growth, creativity, and determination. They deserve a classroom environment where they feel comfortable, prepared, and cared for from the moment they walk in.

As I go into my second year of teaching, I am continuing to learn how important it is to have a fully stocked classroom that helps set the tone for learning and success.

The resources in this project are simple but essential items that help our classroom run smoothly every day. Supplies like pencils and paper ensure students always have the tools they need to participate fully in lessons and complete their work confidently. Hand sanitizer, tissues, and lotions help keep students healthy, comfortable, and focused, especially during long school days and changing seasons. Basic classroom supplies also help create a structured and welcoming environment where students can focus on learning rather than worrying about missing basic necessities.

By helping provide these everyday essentials, you are helping create a classroom where students feel supported, ready to learn, and set up for success each day.
