Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are in need of some materials in the classroom, especially in our science center. My students are intrigued by the science center, and I want to invite them to explore more in the area. Please help me give my students more opportunities to explore the science center with items such as the requested magnetic drawing boards, journals, and binoculars.

My school has a strong community base of parents and teachers who care about engaging and motivating young learners.

They need journals and other materials to continue exploring the area is a vital part of the lesson. My students live in a city with high poverty, high crime, and high unemployment. Despite these obstacles, they are just like any other three and four-year-old, pre-kindergarten students. My students are so very special. They are curious, young minds. They come to school happy every day. They have smiles on their faces daily and enjoy learning.
