My Project

I am looking for everyday essentials to replenish our classroom supplies. A fifth-grade classroom can be a very busy place; to keep things engaging, I am always trying to vary the materials students use to explore, collaborate, and showcase what they have learned.

On any given day, we work in groups to design posters, use personal whiteboards to share our thinking, and create art projects to showcase what we have learned.

All of these fun activities have caused our supplies to dwindle or break.

To help restock our supplies, we need new dry-erase markers, large whiteboards, and sticky chart paper for group and whole-class activities. These materials make cooperative learning a lot more engaging. Since we do so much coloring in grade 5, we are in need of new colored pencils and sharpeners to keep them ready for use.

Post-it notes are also a vital tool we use often for annotating, making notes, and keeping reminders; plus, with all the fun and bright colors, they have always been a favorite learning tool for students. Additionally, hand-held, double-sided whiteboards are a great way for students to share their individual work in any subject. All of these low-tech items are used so frequently in my classroom that our current stock is very low.

I would love to have a fresh supply of these everyday tools for success to support my students throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
